This project is based on the concept of the intermediary: "“Something that acts as a link between groups in order to try and bring about an agreement; a mediator." Our arrangement of program and use of a connecting exterior circulation, use interstitial spaces to create a harmonious experience. The program consists of a library, which mainly resides in the front building, and a kindergarten which is in the back building. The exterior circulation connects to all of the program elements, and with the use of  public balconies, extends the public space of the piazza. The façade of the building utilized 3 brick arrangements: rotated bricks, a brick screen, and brick vertical planter boxes.
