Albatross
Design Village 2022

This was created during Cal Poly's 2022 Design Village Competition. Our task was to design and build a structure, that could then be transported by hand up to Cal Poly's architecture graveyard. I was part of a team of 6: Marco Murillo, Arden Lucas, Kaitlyn Smith, Zachary Evangelista, and Kuhoo Gupta. The main structure is a cantilevered platform that sleeps 6 covered by a grid shell structure. The name "Albatross" comes from the fact that in the wind, the grid shell flexes and looks a bit like a bird.
